  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 Green tea bags or 4 teaspoons of loose leaf
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Fresh lime juice for garnish
  • Lime slices
  • Ice cubes

  • Heat 4 cups of water so that the water is almost boiling. Then remove from heat, add the green tea bags (or loose leaf tea), and steep for about 3-5 minutes. Remoce the tea bags or strain if using loose leaf tea.
  • Add the fresh mint leaves (leave some for garnish) and sugar and stir. Let the mint steep as the tea cools to room temperature.
  • Once the tea has cooled, remove the mint leaves and stir in the fresh lime juice. If you want to make boozy version, add 1/2 to 1 cup of white rum.
  • Transfer the tea mixture to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
  • Pour the chilled mint mojito iced tea over ice cubes in tall glasses and garnish with mint leaves and lime slices. Enjoy!
