Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 cup Fresh hibiscus flower petals or 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 cup Fresh elderflower or 1/4 cup dried elderflower
  • 1/4 cups Honey or to taste
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • Sparkling water to top off or sparkling wine
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices or fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot, remove from heat, and add the hibiscus flowers and elderflower. Cover and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
  • Strain and pour the tea into a large pitcher. Stir in the honey and lemon juice.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it until it’s thoroughly chilled.
  • Fill glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour the chilled herbal tea over the ice (leave some space at the top). Top off each glass with sparkling water to add effervescence.
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon or a few mint leaves and serve immediately!
